Power Requirement (Important but Simple)
Velella Lights operate on 12V DC power.
Most golf carts require a DC voltage reducer to step battery voltage down to safe 12V. We recommend a DC 72V/60V/48V/36V to 12V Step Down Voltage Reducer Regulator, 360W 30A, this covers all common cart voltages and is easy to install.
Future‑Proof Your Cart: This reducer is powerful enough to handle future upgrades, including Velella Lights underglow kits and whips.
Installation is straightforward for most DIY owners.
