Our Story

We’re Alex & Amy. A small, family-run, veteran-strong team in Hampton, VA who believe golf carts (and life) deserve more brightness.

Velella Lights started in our garage, squeezed between school pickups, late-night tinkering, and Amy’s ongoing battle with every mosquito within a five‑mile radius. Like everyone else, we tried the popular RGB, app-controlled wheel lights… until a crowded campground turned our clean blue glow into an accidental Barbie rave. Another camper’s phone hijacked our lights, and that was it. There had to be a better way.

So, we built one.

Instead of complicated apps and glitchy Bluetooth, we engineered solid‑color High Intensity wheel lights that are brighter, cleaner, and actually reliable. No app. No interference. No strangers taking over your cart’s vibe.

Every kit is assembled and tested by hand, right here in the USA, with our family nearby… sometimes helping, sometimes just keeping us company. When you reach out, you get us. No scripts. No call centers. Just real people who care about getting your cart dialed in right.
